About Me
The History
I have always been good with my hands. My dad is a General Contractor and has taught me many tips and tools of the trade. I made my first table
in my parents garage with their tools, and ever since then I have been acquiring my very own. Now, with my own workshop, nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than being able to find a raw piece of wood and transform it into a work of art. I strive to make every table better than the last, ensuring that you will be 100% satisfified with your new table!
The Wood
Each piece of wood is different from the last. Even if two pieces were cut from the same tree, they will be different sizes and shapes and have different grain, knots, and colors. I take all these into consideration when selecting my next project. I choose to leave the finished product as raw as possible by only putting a clear, protective finish on. Depending on the slab, sometimes even the bark stays on. Butterfly joints are used to reinforce cracks and enhance the character and beauty of the wood. You will never get bored looking at your new one-of-a-kind table!
The Metal
When selecting leg style, I consider what would look best with each piece of wood. Customers often choose their own style of legs. The most popular styles I work with are Hairpin and Square Tube legs. Most of the metal used is from recycled material. All the legs are handmade here in Ohio.
